A wheel is an easy way to make a classroom decision feel fair instead of picked — and to get past the same three raised hands every time. Some ways teachers use SpinForFree:

Cold-calling on students

Load the class roster and spin instead of scanning the room for a hand. Turn on elimination mode for the period so everyone gets called once before anyone repeats, then reset the wheel for the next class.

Assigning groups and roles

Open the wheel in stream mode for a clean, full-screen view with no site chrome — good for a classroom projector or an interactive whiteboard, with the spin still triggered from your laptop or phone.

A small reward wheel

Put prizes or privileges on a separate wheel — extra recess, front-of-line pass, homework pass — and spin it for students who’ve earned a shot, weighting the better rewards lower so they stay special.
